HAAGA-HELIA eMBA - In Service Excellence
I had the chance to manage a team of 3 people working on one "pitching website" for HAAGA-HELIA University. In this project, I was responsible for the whole project management and design direction. The goal was to create a gorgeous "web2.0 style" looking for introduction of the new eMBA programme.
Firstly, our designer came up with a proposal that excited the stake-holders.
After we got the project, the real designing process started to take place. We had to make "minor changes" that eventually lead to the final design (the 2 last images of the ones below). During this time, my job was to keep communication flow between each person in the team as seamless as possible. Also, I had to directly supervise the designer of the team on managing his work flow, as he was inexperienced with client work process and web designing in general (though his artistic skills are quite good).
Due to some NDA restriction, I cannot put detail work process here publicly. But in general, the experience was invaluable and I learned a lot from this project.
